Synopsis

Set in the 19th century, the film follows the legendary rise of Efunroye Tinubu. It starts with her humble beginnings as a trader near Abeokuta and tracks her ascent to becoming a dominant political and economic force in Lagos. The story highlights her marriage to an exiled Oba and her fierce, tactical resistance against British colonial influence.
